Abstract
The results of computer calculations using the FIDESYS finite element software package of the stress-strain station (SSS) of three rubber products: a rubber cylinder (RC), massive tires (MT) and safe tire of honeycomb construction (ST) have been presented. In the calculations, the elastic properties of rubber were described by two equations: (I) Hooke's law (linear theory) and (II) Mooney-Rivlin's law (nonlinear theory). Calculation and experimental results of SSS of RC of fastened ends under low deformation are under comparison. The main, central, part of RC according both results show uniform SSS, nonuniform one situated only near fastened ends. Comparison of calculation results for MT according I and II demonstrated the importance of the use of nonlinear theory because the difference may be as large as 1,5 times. Some more difference show the calculation of SSS according I and II for ST. Obtained results support the necessity take the nonlinearity into account under SSS calculation of rubber goods, in particular, tires.References
