Abstract
The new data about the results of testing of the new antiozonant (AO) on the base of N-(2-oxypropil)-N’-phenylenediamine-1,4 in the solid final form of the name KAVANTOKS 3PPD-F for rubber compounds are presented. This data are compared with that of import Diaphen PHP (IPPD) and 6PPD. Prospect of development of the low cost technology based on 1,2-propanediol, produced in RF, and import 4-aminodiphenylamine, available in RF in a large volume are under discussion. The ways of improvement of disadvantages of 3PPD-F, in particular, in vulcanization properties are proposed. Some advantages of the new AO in comparison with known ones are established in protection of rubber compounds against heat ageing and ozone cracking. The data on efficiency of the use of 3PPD-F for stabilizing properties of several types of covering rubber compounds, namely sidewall and tread for tires, including the «green» tread with silica, external covering compound for conveyor belts and for hoses and cables are presented. The data obtained open the possibility to improvement the processing of tires and technical rubber goods.
