Abstract
The properties of rubber compounds and vulcanizates in the presence of composite vulcanization activators (CVA) are studied. CVA are alloys of zinc oxide, fatty acids, and fillers: finedisperse sorbents of bentonite (KAV-B) or crystallite microcellulose (KAV-M). There are 30 % (mas.) of ZnO in CVA. Processing as well as physical and mechanical properties of CVA are compared with that of reference sample and meet all standards requirements. The properties of rubber compounds and rubbers based on SKS-30 ARKM-15 for the manufacture of molded rubber products under complete or partial replacement (50, 75, 100 %) of ZnO on KAV-B are studied. The required level of properties is shown and replacement of ZnO on KAV-B is shown to be profitable.References
