Abstract

Main principles of VMI customer service (CS) today are described Two members of VMI management explain the drastic changes and new perspectives of the CS. The CS is not any more limited by the machines’ maintenance, spare parts delivery and retrofitting. It is not enough to sell the machine. The machine should remain profitable for the whole period of its life and be adaptive to new market demands. The article depicts the way, how to achieve that.
