Abstract
Abstract: The influence of phenol-formaldehyde resins and fillers of various brands on the physical, mechanical and thermal protection properties of elastomeric compositions used as thermal protective materials was studied. The possibility of regulating the coke number and heating time of the vulcanizate in the plasmatron flame by varying the grade and content of phenol-formaldehyde and melamine-formaldehyde resins and fillers of various natures has been shown. It has been shown that the most effective way to provide heat-shielding properties is to combine phenolic resins with a mixture of fillers (carbon black, oxide, silicon and microcarbon fibers).
