Abstract
The article is a continuation of a series of works devoted to the study of the effect of plasticization (P) of isoprene rubber (SKI-3) on the technological properties of its rubber compounds. P SKI-3 was carried out in a laboratory rubber mixer company «HFM» in the temperature range 30–130 0C and time 30–600 s. The molecular characteristics of SKI-3 and its plasticats were determined on a Waters gel chromatograph. Elastic recovery of the rubber compounds (ER) was established according to GOST 415-75. It has been found out that in the area of oxidative degradation of medium duration, the ICI-3 reduces ER to a minimum value and an explanation of this fact is given. The equations describing the dependences of ERon the values of Mw of SKI-3, the mass fraction of macromolecules oxidized as a result of P and the mass fraction of macromolecules subjected to mechanical cracking are established. It was found that with a decrease in the molecular weight of the SKI-3 fractions, the ER of rubber compounds based on them decreases.
