Abstract
Osteoplastic compositions (OC) have been developed on the basis of SKTN-A low-molecular-weight silicone rubber. Silicon-containing mineral substances were used as fillers: bentonite (Bn), sepiolite, and wollastonite (Wl), compatible with SKTN-A and containing calcium cations, which determine the ability to support-mechanical and protective functions of human bone tissues. Diethylaminomethyltriethoxysilane (ADE-3) is used as a hardener. The content of fillers varied from 10 to 60, 50 phr were chosen as the optimum. The working time, the observed consistency, density, refractive index, pH, hardness and elastic recovery were determined according to the relevant GOST, as well as the toxicity of the aqueous extract using a ThermoScientificNicolet iS10 IR spectrometer. OC with ADE-3 and Bn has the best properties, the worst elastic properties has OC with ADE-3 and Wl. The possibility of the use the developed materials as OC for filling bone cavities in surgical dentistry is considered.References
