Abstract

The article presents results of research of dielectric and mechanical properties of rubbers based on dimethylsiloxane rubbers, the production of «Momentive» and «Xiameter», in combination with metal oxides such as: Fe2O3, CeO2, TiO2, ZnO, ZrO2, SrO. The purpose of this work was to find effective solutions to provide the required set of properties of heat-resistant rubbers for wires and cables using basic elastomeric compositions of Chinese production. The estimates of such effect of metal oxides were evaluated based on results of thermal aging in air oven of materials. According to the results of the research, the metal oxides were ranked according to their effectiveness. Binary systems of metal oxides (TiO2 + CeO2; Fe2O3 + CeO2; ZnO + CeO2) were also investigated. The woke note the prospects of their research. It was decided to continue the research of this theme.
