Abstract
Statistical copolymers of butadiene and isoprene (SIBR-L) were obtained by anionic polymerization in the presence of an initiating system, including n-butyl lithium and new modifiers, which are mixed sodium-calcium or sodium-potassium-barium-calcium alcoholates based on domestic alcohols: Lapramol-294 and Ethyl Carbitol. The process of initiation with the use of new modifiers proceeds more actively in comparison with a mass-produced analogue, which is associated with the presence of two ether groups in their composition, due to which these modifiers behave as more effective electron donors of n-butyl lithium, increasing its reactivity. The microstructure of the butadiene and isoprene parts of SIBR-L using an IR-Fourier spectrometer from Nicolet 6700, Mooney viscosity were determined. Physical and mechanical tests of the obtained vulcanizates were carried out, the results of which showed that copolymers obtained on the basis of experimental modifiers have the best strength characteristics.
