Abstract
The article describes a method for obtaining a functionalized initiator used in anionic polymerization to obtain SSBR. A two-stage method for obtaining an initiator based on the theory of Brensted acid-base interaction is presented, where n-butyl lithium is a base, and secondary amines with a mobile hydrogen atom is an acid in a mixture of polar and non-polar solvents, followed by interaction with butadiene. The results of the selection of a secondary amine and a solvent for the synthesis of f-initiator are presented, as well as the results of a study of the stability of the obtained f-initiators over time. The stability of the functionalized initiator was evaluated by monitoring the change in the concentration of active lithium for 20 days at 4 and 25°C. The developed method of synthesis and the selected storage conditions for such initiators made it possible to maintain a constant concentration of active lithium for 10 days, which makes it technologically applicable under conditions of industrial use for the synthesis of styrene-butadiene rubbers.
