Abstract
The adhesive properties (tensile strength machine AI-3000-U) of 3,4-polyisoprene (3,4-PI) samples with different molecular weights synthesized at the Voronezh branch of NIISK in comparison with cis-1,4-polyisoprene (SKI-3) were studied. The properties of high-molecular M37 and low-molecular M17 3,4-PI and their mixtures have been studied in detail. The effect of annealing at 70 °C, exposure in water at 60 °C, ozonation and exposure to ultraviolet radiation with a wavelength of 250 nm were studied by the EPR method (automated spectrometer EPR-B, Institute of Biochemical Physics RAS. The correlation time of rotational mobility of the paramagnetic probe (τ) and the effective activation energy of rotational mobility of the paramagnetic probe (Ea) have been measured. The features of the changes in τ and Ea. of M37, M17, their mixtures, as well as other types of 3,4-PI are considered and compared with the data for SKI-3. The optimal composition of the mixture has been determined for further prospective use as a sticky layer in tapes with constant stickiness.
