Sample for Laboratory Testing of Rubber/Cord Composites, Allowing to Reproduce Real Loading Conditions

Abstract
Rubber/cord samples for laboratory mechanical tests are considered, which differ from the known ones. The stress-strain state (SSS) of the
rubber layer between the cord threads of this samples is reproduced SSS formed in rubber-cord parts of tires and rubber products during
operation. This allows to predict with high accuracy the behaviour of rubber-cord elements of tires and rubber goods in real-life conditions,
based on the results of mechanical tests of such samples. So one can judge about a weak point in the design of the product, which requires
improvement, to study the nature of the destruction of the considered samples (by rubber or along the «cord-rubber» border).
